If anyone is looking to see the Gen-Con coverage I will be posting it to my site.

I think the best thing we can do is call hasbro customer support and complain about this issue. We are the customers and we unhappy. If not I say we cut back on hasbro products we buy and proxie heroscape in protest

This does suck. I SERIOUSLY hope something can be worked out to bring .NET back. As with many of you, I always had the site opened in a window while at work. The suddeness that this happened is hard to take.
I mean, did anyone else sense that .NET was just ready to explode? And I mean that is the nicest way. Hero was planning big things for the site, we were picking up members that added qulaity posts and insights, GenCon was this week, the TRU exclusive was hitting shelves soon, and Christmas is right around the corner! I was truly excited to see where the site was going to go.
Damn, if it means taking down the minis in the friggin' header, so be it! But I'd be seriously interested to know exactly WHY this happened. If it is simply because of the .NET store, I think the simple remedy would be to have Hasbro legal tell Hero what could and could not be used as products. Not to just kill the whole thing, and in doing so, killing an aspect of the game about 1,000 people have come to love: the tight-knit community of .NET.

It's likely Rob and Craig won't be allowed to comment on it.

I got to go meet the wife for dinner.. Let's stick together folks. This has been the best online community I have ever been involved with and would hate to see it all end.
New name for Wave 4: Grungebob's Rage!!!!

Wow...This really is a bummer.
I do hope everything turns out o.k.
I'd hate to see Heroscape.Net go down for good. I agree that Heroscape.net was a daily ritual everyday since I signed up.

And in the beginning of all this I was thinking that this was all tied to comments you and Hero made about big surprises on HS.net coinciding with Gencon. I thought it was going to be a merge of the boards with HS.com or something. This was definitely a shocker.

I'd like to remain positive and hope that it will come back soon minus the offending material but if it doesn't, we can build a new site. Hero still has the code.

Speaking of Hasbro, I don't mean to pregnant dog and I don't do it that often but WTF? We are the hardcore fans. We're the ones who are pimping heroscape to our friends and attracting new players to the game. I find it pretty F'd up that they'd stomp on us like this. Yeah, exactly - WTF is my response too, Hasbro is making a TON of money off of people like US, not the 8 year old market.

This...totally...sucks.... Seriously, there's a deep void from all this. I have to miss GenCon this year, but kept thinking "Next year. Next year I'll get to play against the HS.net group." If this is Hasbro's doing....
But I think the regulars are showing up quickly over here. That's good. If there's an effort to bring back HS.net (or something like it), count me in.
