And something that is bothering me right off the bat with this site is the filter. I don't like being censored.

I agree with you totally noodle, we were the fuel of the game. I do not believe that Heroscape would be the game it is today with out Heroscape.net.

Dang, this sucks. I've only been around for a couple of months, but I was really enjoying Heroscape.net. It was quickly becoming my most-often-checked website of the day.

Well, in a few days, my computer will be ready to host sites. I just might start building my own heroscape site.
As much as I respect the geek for it's reviews and general info, it's message board is crap and it can't even compare to our gallery/downloads section.

As much as it ticks me off, I'll have to raise the reason flag and say that a number of things users did infringed on trademark. Heck, I offered repeatedly to pull the hi-res scans that I had loaded to make sure they weren't a problem and Hero said it would be fine. We'll hear from him soon enough. It's all the discussion gone that is a pain.
best case scenario would see a modified version of the old .net go up with infringing items removed. I have to say, I was going to join the Hasbro "My HEROSCAPE" site, but I'm a lot less likely now. Dorks. Freaking dorks.

We need to think about the future of this community

Avoid using heroscape in the domain name. The name itself is undoubtedly trademarked.

Bunjee.....all of that stuff should be in files, it can all be restored or atleast should be able to be restored. If Hero is allowed to continue the site and just remove the parts that Hasbro had a problem with then that should be fine, I'd think.
What does Rob and Craig have to say about this? Did they fight for us or was it so above their heads that they had no say in this?

Yeah, I'd really like to hear Craig and Rob's comments on this. I think, from seeing their posts, they felt HS.net was a positive thing for the game.
