krug> Imagine how many sets it would takes to make a playable fascimile of hell, or perhaps more importantly how many it would take to make a lava creature a worthwhile addition to your team.
Doesn't anyone else see the bizarre superfluous nature of the lava set? You need to buy it to get the obsidian guards which only fight well in lava which you wouldn't need in the first place if you didn't buy the set to begin with? I know, best to buy five sets of it, maybe it will make more sense then....*Insert retarded laugh here*
By that logic I am gonna go to bed now just to get well rested for the hard night of intense sleeping I have planned...

Oh dear. I guess my set doesn't make sense yet, as I only have four Volcarren Wasteland sets!

If your lucky enough to get to a convention with a Heroscape exhibit, you may get some free lava. I got some nice pieces at the end of GenCon Indy.

"Wow, this lava expansion is really hot!"
There, now that I have develpoped the same high brow intelligent mastery of puns and other hilarious word play, maybe I can get an account at hersocape hq and hang with all the really cool, desirable and equally quick witted people that frolic there. Yee-haw! I can just imagine what types of fun times I would have.
Or more realistically, maybe I can can just fly into the sunset on my three inch plastic Mimring dragon.
btw, I got 2 lava sets too, but I kept the reciept. TRU's annual "menage a toys" sale is coming up soon and I am gonna take the useless things back and get even more four useless things for the same price, for my savvyness as a consumer is only matched by the temperance of my soul...
*takes big swig*

Krug> It's called sarcasm. I cannot stand heroscape HQ and I only pass through to get information. It's not good that I go there, the place makes me hate humanity, online communities and even heroscape. Yes heroscape. I've never seen such hype over a boardgame since people started talking to dead people on Ouija boards in the 80's.
I am serious, prolonged exposure to that place makes me want to film myself squeezing my neraks (rare figures) between a pair of pliers just so I could post the MPEG online there. Sure I would lose around $100 in property but many of the people there would become so upset by such a display that a few of the them might even take their own life for fear that the world as they knew it had just come to an end, thus making both the internet and the planet itself a much better place, (if you are into that sort of thing).

Ha, ha! You should do it, however I would suggest a blow torch. Dripping flaming plastic Nerak everywhere! The visual of Nerak melting and the forthcoming screams of HS fanatics would be way too funny!
I can hear 'em now ... "Man, you could have sent it to me." "I never got one at TRU and you do that!" "You're just a sick f#รง&!!!"
... of course, you should just melt a Swog Rider that you have simply repainted as Nerak!

Why do you curse in numerals?
One good thing about not being on a board NOT sanctioned by MB is you can let your manners go.
If there wasn't such censorship issues on the official HQ board regarding language and such, I would get really subversive with my posting content such as painting a bunch of heroscape hexes on my girlfriends bare chest, covering it with a smattering of figures and take a digitial photo of the "battle for the grand titons" and then post it there, you know what they say, role playing can really spice up things in bed among consenting adults...*smiles toothily* (Damn I can see it now, I don't have to tell you where I would put the glyphs).
Come to think of it, even I wouldn't be so cruel. If the immolation of a Nerak figure online would drive people to sure mutiny than there is no telling what the sight of a nice pair of female breasts clad in heroscape colors would do to the psyches of those plastic pushing zealots, many of whom will never see a human female breast for many years if ever in their lives.
Besides, my GF would never agree to it anyway. Not unless MB released a wave with Amazons, Mermaids or better yet, Succubi in it. Then I would have a shot. Shes a sucker for mythological creatures that proclaim the feminist ideal as well as the aesthetic virtues of the human female form.
