As probably everyone knows heroscapeHQ.com is the new site that people seem to be accepting as the replacement for .net. I was wondering if anyone was planning on staying here and/or not going to HQ

I'm still at both sites. HeroscapeHQ.com is still having bandwidth problems - it took 10 minutes just to reload the page there.

I've been back and forth between the two sites today. It may still be a little slow, but I'm amazed at the pace at which hq.com is taking shape. I expect that it will be simply a matter of a couple more days before it's comparable to the old hs.net. If it's in reasonably good shape tomorrow, this may be my last day over here.
My biggest complaint is the color scheme over there. I've found myself spending more time over here today just because the black-on-white is far easier to read than the white-on-black over at hq.com. Hopefully hextr1p will have that fixed soon though.

I'm going to move, although there seems to be a problem with my account there. I got the hello message, but no activation link and I still can't login. No big deal, I'm patient.

However, it may be a while before I start making changes there. GW is still setting things up, getting the site in working order, and tweaking the server HQ is on. He has already contacted me to help with graphics, but I'm in no rush. I'm really excited to help, but right now I still feel a bit empty having all the graphic stuff Hero and I worked on killed off in a matter of five minutes... ugh... I just need a breather.

Can't you reuse your graphics on the new site?

Can't you reuse your graphics on the new site? Actually, I can. The images on HQ are the exact same one's previously used on .NET. So all the sizes are the same. However, there are so many little icons that just make the site look too busy. Like all those little people icons, and those in the Menu... they just make the site look too carbon copy. Once I get my wind back, I hope to develop a new look for HQ. Meaning logo, header, color scheme, and buttons. At this point, I just don't want to rehash what I used for .NET. I want to give HQ it's own identity, while still retaining the spirit of our old site.

I'm at both sites, too. Thinking about moving out, but before I do, I still want to see Turtleboy resurface.

I appreciate the effort but the new site is slow and welll just not the same as our beloved HS.NET
I'll give it some time or I just might fade away

Glasswalker has said it will be 'a week or two' until the heroscaphq.com site is moved to a new server, so expect that site to have signficent performance problems until the move occurs.

Agree with you on that point. It needs brighting up a bit.
