It seems that the name really was not the killer. The down side to a new name is search engines. How many of us found HS.net through a search engine?
Someone said there was a spell checker, how does it work?

Someone said there was a spell checker, how does it work? When you 'Reply' or 'Quote', there is a 'Spell Check' box below. It is not there when you 'Quick Reply'.

I see no valid reason to change it from Heroscape.net The name is still free and clear, AFAIK. While ruminating on new names is fun, there is simply no good reason to change domain names, as long as Hero would give it to some other fan. I second this.

herocafe.com hsunderground.net kyrie.info cafekyrie.com
(I like the word "cafe" for some reason. It gives it kinda a... I dunno... comfortable, community feel.)

I agree, but I figure there is a chance Hero would like to keep it. We'll see. But on that note, how about what Elstree always calls it: HEROCRACK.NET

I really like hotlavadeath, but I'd make it a .com, rather than a .net...

I really like hotlavadeath, but I'd make it a .com, rather than a .net... Yeah, but .net goes back to our roots, and it's kind of an inside joke as to the fate of the old site

That's true... but we'd almost have to snatch up both, in order to keep someone else from grabbing the .com.

ROFL EDIT: Just to add insult to injury, I just hit reaper with a smite, so he's -2! Whatever we name the new site, can we agree not have this "smite" feature? It's just mean. I agree with Reaper, if heroscape.net is still available to us, we should at least consider it as a possibility. [exalts reaper]
